Trivia

Introduction
This week in SXW we had our first One World Champion crowned, and that was
just the beginning of the week. A truly action packed week in SXW and to
increase tension, Friday Night Fury was taped yesterday(Friday) but is not
been posted until tomorrow(Sunday). Reports have been flowing the net that
NOH Cheating won the One World Title yesterday and although I doubt there is
any truth in this, we will have to watch FNF to find out. Booked by the EoD,
it is set to be a great show. Another talking point in the SXW, is who will
be Dark Wind's mystery opponent. Well, we have our very own Internet geek,
who has been searching the net non stop for three days to try and find out
the Mystery Opponent but still no word. In this issue, we miss the Nickel
View, as Jack had some business to take care of and had no time to write.
After the End is still here and should be even more interesting now Omega
has returned, or revealed himself, however you want to put it. A Week In The
Life Of; is looking at an SXW's newcomers week. We Interview Zach
Porter and again Dave Page goes ... ˜Down The Bookies™". Simon Sherlock.
John Klud has another look at the best sellers and worst sellers in SXW.com/Shopzone and Gerald Rolph sets and answers the trivia. Despite Nickel's absence, the newsletter is still action packed.

After The End
The scene opens in the familiar 'After the END' set on X-Treme Island.
Omega is sitting behind the desk, and a middle aged woman is next to him.
She is wearing glasses and looks like a librarian.

"Hey, folks... As you all know by now I never actually left the island. I
had a lot of stuff goin' on, so I needed to lie low for a few weeks. That's
all over with now, though, so I'm back for good. I may wrestle under the
name 'Defender' now but I won't be changin' the show format. I'm still Omega
when I ain't wrestlin'."

"Before I start the recaps I'd like to introduce this week's guest, Doctor
Doris Graves. She's a leading expert on the occult, and she's here to give
us a little info on all the crazy stuff happening around here. Doctor, just
what is a Hellmouth, and do we really have one here?"

Doris: "A Hellmouth is a place where negative spiritual energy is concentrated. It is not an actual portal to Hell, rather it is a focal point for evil energy. Black magic works much better at such a place, and the darker sorts of supernatural creatures are drawn to a Hellmouth like moths to a porch light. I'm sorry to say you really do seem to have something like that here on this island."

"Does that mean good magic's weaker here?"

Doris: "No, but since the evil is strengthened it has the same effect as if
the good were weaker. That is why you have so many demons, evil magicians, and undead hanging around."

"Thanks, doc. I may not know much about this magic stuff, but a demon's got
an ass just like anyone else... and I DO know how to kick ass! Now let's
get down to business. I ain't goin' over every match, since we had three of
'em and they were all full. If I leave you out and you want your next match
to be included... make it more interesting next time!"

"Friday started out with a couple newbie matches, then the tournament
started. Ghost Eagle took out an injured Theo Blitz in nineteen seconds
flat, Coolman P. beats Jack Cusack, and the Canadian with the
unpronounceable name beats Ice. Ice got so mad he choke slammed Myphis
through the announcer's booth! I got a poster sized print of that slam up
on my wall."

"HKK beat Shain Nelles in a great match, and Billy K. Bonk got screwed by
Cyric when he replaced April Knight and managed to beat Bonk to get back
into the tournament! What do you think of Cyric, doc?"

Doris: "I think he is very dangerous and evil."

"Gee... no wonder you're a Ph.D. Next Aeon beat Over Fiend in a great
hardcore match. Then Fire beat Jackal, except it wasn't Fire but Cyric
again! That gave him two spots in the tournament... or so we thought. Lugg
Nutt beat Trax next in another good fight. I didn't like Lugg much in the
old days, but he's gotten a lot better ever since he went solo. I guess the
SoD were holdin' him back. After that the Red Raven demolished Priest in
the last tournament match."

"After that Raging Bull beat Beast in an awesome match. This one had
run-ins, chair duels, and more! The whole DRI came down, but they all got
their butts kicked right back out. After that Dark Wind managed to beat
Ahala in a nearly clean match to keep his Darkness Title, but it turns out
he'd been hired to keep her busy while some goons kidnapped Aislinn! Dark
Wind must've really been happy... he got to keep his title and get paid for
a job all at the same time!"

"The next event was Last Man Standing. It started out with a battle royal
for the cruiserweight belt. Jackal won. If you wanna know more rent the
tape, 'cuz I sill hate battle royals and I ain't wastin' any more time on
this one! Next Beast beat Jackhammer and Whitesnake in a triple threat
match. Good match, and Beast showed why he's probably the second toughest
guy in the SXW."

Doris: "Who's the toughest?"

"Me, of course! The tournament was next, with Noh Cheating as ref. Ghost
Eagle beat Coolman P, and then he used some Indian hocus pocus to turn him
from a zombie back to a normal guy! After that HKK kicked some Canadian
butt, but he got carried away and got himself DQ'd. That left Mr.
Unpronounceable the winner. It also left Noh Cheating with a concussion.
Disqualifying Hardkore Kid ain't the safest call for a ref to make."

"After that Cyric beat Aeon after a con by Nickel backfired, and Cyric beat
Lugg in a good clean fight. That ended round 3, but the action kept goin'!
Dark Wind beat Plague in an Extreme Dumpster match thanks to a few cheap
shots and a whole lotta loud noise. I guess he really does know everyone's
weakness. Good thing I ain't got one. Planeswalker was up against Mr.
Fixit next, and he saved himself a lot of pain by walkin' out on the match.
Sure he got counted out, but that's better than CARRIED out! I still wanna
get a shot at this guy Fixit, though."

"That led to round 4, where all the matches were no DQ. Ghost Eagle beat
Mr. Unpronounceable in a great match. Those Canadians really do know a lot
about wrestlin', but I guess Indians know more. Cyric was set to take on
Fixit next, but then Cyric butted in and wanted the match instead. Yep, you
heard me... we had TWO Cyrics! And as far as I'm concerned, two Cyrics is
THREE too many! This match was a draw, so they both ended up in the main
event."

"Next was Piranha against Over Fiend for the submission belt. This was a
great fight, but Piranha pulled it out in the end. That led to me against
Cyric, or at least one of 'em. This was a triple stack hell in the cell
deathwatch, one of the most extreme matches we've ever had here. Kids, do
NOT try this at home... I was so pissed off I don't even remember half of
this one, but I sure remember puttin' Cyric through the announcer's table
from the top cage and getting the win. I also remember him killin' Alpha.
Cyric, we ain't finished by a long shot."

Next was a super heavyweight title battle royal. Raging Bull won. It's a
rumble, so that's all I'm sayin' about it. Finally, Ghost Eagle beat both
Cyrics and won the world title, thanks in part to Crazy Noodle Boy, the ref.
Oh, and the mace, too."

Doris: "He sprayed the other guy with mace?"

"Nope, it was a medieval style chain mace, and he clobbered a Cyric right in
the head with it! Too bad it wasn't a battle axe."

"Then there was TNT. Pretty tame after LMS, but what wouldn't be? The
first matches were pretty dull, even though it was kinda nice to see Divine
Right finally win one... even if it was just the Sisters from Hell they
beat."

"Hardkore Kid beat Hardman Gubba, of course, and kept the lightweight title.
Whitesnake creamed Planeswalker and would'a killed him if Zeebo hadn't
calmed him down. The Red Raven not only beat Wildthing, he carved his
initials in the guy's chest! What's up with Birdie Boy, anyway? Then the
DRI beat the Losers... er, the Reavers... in a six man tag. Big surprise.
The DRI have a lot of talent. Of course, it's all inside Aeon, but as long
as they got him they'll actually win a match or two. The main event was a
battle royal for the world championship. Ghost Eagle won. One thing I will
say is I liked Dark Wind's strategy... just sit with the announcers until
it's almost over and then come in and have a singles match with a tired
opponent. He almost won gold, but Ghost's tin turkey saved him. Ghost
Eagle, I gotta say you're an OK champ, but don't get too comfortable. One
of these days you're gonna have to fight ME, and then you'll need more than
a metal bird and a few magic tricks."

"Well, that's another week of SXW action. See you all later!"

A Week In The Life Of: Ruff Ryder

1/21/01 I joined the SXW and brought my manger Jennifer Hill With me.
1/22/01 I tried to find out who all the good wrestlers were and who all the
bad ones were so I could start my climb to the top.
1/23/01 I found out that the fans of, the SXW know talent when they see it,
and also that the women here in the SXW knows who wants to be with me. I
already been with Bianca, Christina, and Joli Breeze. So I guess these means
I am the stud of the SXW.
1/24/01 I have my 1st match in the SXW versus Sleet and I beat him to a
pulp and had nothing but the fans chanting my name. After the match Hard Man
Gubba comes after me and hits me with a dam chair and at that time I
realized it is time for me to take matters in to my hands.
1/25/01 I celebrate my amazing win with a few ladies and some good liquor.
We all party all night long and we were having fun then the phone rung and I
was asked to join a group to form a stable and I said yes and the stable
will be formed very soon.
1/26/01 I had my next match it was the tope rope match after that I had
another enemy cause Shain threw me out of the ring and now I am going to
have a match versus him in the very near future and whip his ass.
1/27/01 I realized I need some help train and a friend of mine need help to
so we joined up and now he is moving up the ladder just like I am now I add
another women to my flock and a friend to watch my back. With all these
women I am tried and have to go see them now to relieve so stress so till
next time/

Simon Says
Welcome all of SXW to "Simon Says" In my writing, I'll be researching and
bringing you the best including a fresh look on matches, angles, and the
challenge of being a titleholder and a title contender. We'll start off with
an insight into the bookings by The Elements of Destruction. Take a look
(Simon points to the monitor on the table next to him);

******fzzzzzzzzt******fzzzzzzzzt******fzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
The picture becomes clear. Standing there is Simon, mic in hand.

(Whispering)"Ladies and gentlemen, I am standing here outside EoD's
lockeroom. Hopefully we'll be able to sneak in and get a look as to what
goes on in there. Let's go."

Simon slowly turns the doorknob, and creeps inside. By his admission later
on, the interior is like a warehouse, one light bulb illuminating the room.
Boxes surround the group huddled around a table. Laughter and speaking echo
throughout the vacated area. The door shuts, and locks itself before the
cameraman can scurry into the room. He shouts, "SHIT!" Inside no one hears
it but Simon, who curses the door. The camera fades into darkness.

In seconds the picture starts to come back on screen. By now, members of The
Elements start pouring out of the room. Simon is the last to leave the room.
He steps up to the camera and begins;

"Well after what seemed like hours of deliberating, Friday Night is now an
EoD show. Hardkore Kid takes on Wildthing in a LightWeight title match.
Billy K Bonk has a shot at the X-Treme Island title vs Lugg and the man who
beat him in the LMS tournament, Cyric. Bull and Whitesnake, strangely, go
for the Tag Team titles. And major news, Pirhana vs Ghost Eagle for the One
World Championship. Other matches include Beast vs Fire, Chris Le Spondulex
vs Silver Banshee, and Dark Wind vs a Mystery Opponent in a Triple Stack
Hell In A Cell match. Amazing news, an amazing show for sure. This is Simon
for "Simon Says".

******fzzzzztt******pop******

More on the matches next issue but for now, we'll look at some other
interesting tid bits going on in SXW

New Faces
-"We've seen glimpses of this past XWF heavyweight. Will he return to what
comes best? Or will he fade into obscurity like many of the old XWF
superstars? Will his return bring the downfall of Lucas and his cronies?
Will good have another to fear? We'll find out more in the coming weeks."

-"One who is already in SXW has just come back as himself. We've just
recently witnessed another Cyric being brought into the SXW. There are many
conclusions people can come to when seeing this sorta thing. Maybe Cyric is
here to destroy himself. Maybe Cyric and Cyric are here to demolish all
contenders for the OWC. Maybe it's all just a trick, thought up by Lucas. A
lot of Maybes. We won't be sure until we see more.

-"Ruff Ryder is the newest inclusion into our roster. I don't know much
about this guy but I am sure he will make an impact somehow or another."

My favourite matches these last couple of weeks (In No Particular Order)

: Cyric vs Aeon : Round 3 of the Last Man Standing Tournament
-Cyric wins unfortunately. Aeon fights hard, unlucky to lose. I wanna see
more of this kind of action!
: Dark Wind vs ??? : No DQ, I Quit match
-A can't remember who he was up against but it ended with everyone being hit
with a chair except for Dark Wind. I found it amusing and destructive.
Awesome!
: Cruiser Weight Title Rumble :
-The Jackal wins a hard fought bout by eliminating Billy K Bonk. Two young
stars that will have an effect on SXW during their baby step program. One
has already established himself while the other is still growing.

Lastly, Congrats to Ghost Eagle on his OWC title win. Here's a quote to
remember;
"He who has nothing and loses, leaves with nothing, but has everything to
gain!"

"Take care and I'll see you in a fortnight. Long Live SXW baby!!!"

If you have any comments, suggestions, or sarcasm, please don't hesitate in
sending them to me at billykbonk@hotmail.com . Talk soon

Down The Bookies

Hey its me again bringing you quality predictions for this week . I have to
write this well before this event (or Tom has a go at me :P) [Note from The
Ed, I don’t really, poetic licence]so many of the last minute matches are
not included . Hopefully this week my bet will be a safe bet .Remember as I
say every week THESE ARE ONLY PREDICTIONS . Someone asked me why I put them
down as the loser last week . I consider previous matches , your skills and
your role-plays . I am not being mean or in any way biased against anyone !
Right then onto the First Event !

Tuesday Night Turmoil (02/06/01)
First Match
Jack Cusack versus The Jackhammer
Both have been rather quiet lately so its difficult to see what they are
going to do . Cusack has been challenging some of the main eventers which
shows exactly what he's made of . Jackhammer is 50:50 at the moment same as
his opponent . Both are not scared to take to the air so there techniques
might clash providing a rather slow match . Cusack however has beaten the
EoD even if they think it was a screw job . Cusack should therefore walk
away victorious .
Cusack 2:3
Jackhammer 1:3
Second Match
Wildthing versus Theo Blitz
Both are very up themselves . They are not scared to take on anyone no
matter how evil or twisted they are . Blitz is a stocky character who some
say bark is worse than his bite . Rather a twisted technique on both parts .
Wildthing has nearly a 100% record . Therefore I feel the Destroyer of
Perfection may flounder here against a DRI backed Wildthing .
Wildthing 3:5
Theo Blitz 2:5
Third Match
Coolman P versus Priest
Priest could have been a major contender in the SXW if he focused on his
skills rather than his church . Coolman P on the other hand has been on
target ever since his emergence .
Coolman P 9:11
Priest 2:11
Fourth Match
Shain "Krazee" Nelles versus Ruff Ryder
Both are willing to do anything to get a win . Even if it means putting life
and limb on the line . Nelles is a legend in the SXW and knows every trick
of the trade . Ryder is relatively new and I feel he will have Shain on his
ass big time in this matchup . Nelles should walk away the victor .
Shain Nelles 5:7
Ruff Ryder 2:7
Fifth Match
Frost versus Beats The Crusher
Frost has had a tough time in the SXW so far . He has had major problems
with the infamous DRI . Whether he is fit enough for this match we wait to
see . Even with Frost fit Beast the Crusher is amazing in the ring . He uses
weapons so well and with a triple stack he should have this match won . I
predict this may be the last time we see Frost in one piece in the SXW .
Beast the Crusher 11:15
Frost 4:15
Sixth Match
The Jackal versus Chris Le Sponduleux (CW Title)
The Jackal may have been spared the likes of Ghost Eagle and Piranha in his
cruiser weight title matchup but it was well earned and he does deserve it .
Le Sponduleux showed however he can hang with the best . I think this shall
be a rather short period with the belt for Jackal . This will be extremely
close and even halfway through would be difficult to call .
The Jackal 11:23
Chris Le Sponduleux 12:23
Seventh Match
Over Fiend versus Crazy Noodle Boy
Over Fiend is a very talented man and very under-rated which nearly fits his
opponents description . Many see the Noodle Boy as novelty in the SXW but
the truth is he is a wrestler and a damn good one . I think Noodle Boy may
walk away with this one to the surprise of Over Fiend . Maybe with a sneaky
pin .
Crazy Noodle Boy 2:3
Over Fiend 1:3
Eighth Match
Raging Bull versus Dark Cyric (SHW Title)
What a match this is going to be . This may fall into the third main event
spot . Both can win deciding blows for their beliefs here . If Bull wins he
would have defeated one of the evilest men on the planet and vice versa .
Bull has got a real tough first defence and I think Cyric may get the better
of him in this one . But with EoD's backing Bull may pull off one against
this monstrosity .
Raging Bull 7:15
Cyric 8:15
Ninth Match
MAIN EVENT 1
Ghost Eagle versus Defender
Whether it will be for the OWC we wait to see . Two of the most phenomenal
athletes in the SXW go head to head in a classic square-off . Ghost Eagle is
a spiritually guided warrior who apparently runs by honour . He is not
adverse to using his trained budgee though to get the win . Defender on the
other hand is a pick em up throw em down kinda guy who doesn't take crap
from anyone . I think Defender may walk away the winner in this one .
Defender 11:19
Ghost Eagle 8:19
Tenth Match
MAIN EVENT 2 . Piranha versus Aeon
Looks like another close one to round of the night . Piranhas recent form
has been excellent while Aeon has been rather quiet ever since he lost in
the Last Man Standing contest . Maybe these two are on a par now in the SXW
and Aeon may go in underestimating the Deadly Piranha . Aeon I think will
narrowly walk away the winner (but maybe not :P) .
Aeon 4:7
Piranha 3:7
After that event has been fought our next is Friday Night Fury (02/09/01)
First Match
Over Fiend versus Green Death
Over Fiend versus Crimson Scourge
Maybe this is Over Fiends chance to prove himself . Against two of the
biggest men around he has a gauntlet . I think he shall walk away with the
first match with little problem . Green Death will have orders to wear him
down so Scourge can get the kill . If Over Fiend puts up a fight in the
second then I think there is a strong possibility of outside interference .
Thats why sadly Over Fiend will be cheated out of this gauntlet .
Over Fiend 15:20 Green Death 5:20
Over Fiend 3:10 Crimson Scourge 7:10
Second Match
Ruff Ryder versus Hardman Gubba
What a thing to put on the line . A contract is on the line in the first
couple of SXW months ! Gubba has next to no chance against the Ryder . And I
don’t think Gubba will get any pity whatsoever from Myphis , Big Al or even
the crowds ! Ruff Ryders contract is safe .
Ruff Ryder 17:20
Hardman Gubba 3:20
Third Match
The Champs versus Defender (Tag Team Championships)
Defender is a hard man and will be hard to beat even for two men . It all
depends on the people who win the Tag Gauntlet . If EoD win then it may have
repercussions in the camp if Defender decides to go mad . However whoever
Defender is against the pairing will slow the match down . This will cramp
Defenders style and he will not be able to fight back in his usual dominant
way . The Tag Team will keep the belts .
Tag Team Champs 7:11
Defender 4:11

Merchandise Charts
Worst Sellers
1. NOH Cheating : As his popularity goes down, as does the sale of his "I
JAPAN NOH CHINA" shirt.
2. Hardman Gubba : The usual in the worst sellers, his brand new
"I am just
Sexy
" top is not a hit.
3. Banshee : Not popular, and her sales are poor and a zombie, her cap is
not selling at all well.
4. Zeebo :
" 99 The Learned Man" baseball top is not going as well as his
advice.
5. NOH Cheating : Never a week goes by without two NOH items in the top 5,
this time it is his cap.

Best Sellers
1. Piranha :
"Delta Waters" the lime flavoured soft drink that kruizes down
your throat, is a big his.
2. Ghost Eagle : His new
"SXW One World Champion" shirt is naturally loved
by the fans.
3. Elements of Destruction : The cap is in the top five named
"Lucas, we
just booked your show.
"
4. Omega : Despite the fact he is now the Defender, since his return Omega
boots have sold and sold.
5. Lugg Nutt :
"The Lugg Way" shirt is a big hit with the SXW faithful.

Piranha's drink at the top, the Bull was behind the name and the Piranha
chose the taste, our sources tell us. NOH Cheating as usual not a great fan
favourite and him and Hardman Gubba better think of some new merchandise
sharp. NOH shirts are selling as badly as The Rock does Stone Cold's moves
and that takes alotta doing. Zeebo will not be surprised at the dismal sale
of his baseball shirt as to be honest, baseball and Zeebo do not go
together. Banshee's popularity has gone down even more, as the charts show
and Ghost Eagle's new shirt is selling great. Until next time, I am the Kludster.
