The Old Train by: AARON JENNINGS

Greetings, fellow XWFers and fans. This is my first column for the new newsletter, and let me tell you, this is gonna be great. I just know it.

I'll start this off on the right foot. My name is Aaron Jennings, and I am an old-school wrestling fan. Stone Cold Steve Austin, in my not-so-humble opinion, is a fraction of what he could be if he focused on his wrestling abilities. Sure, the fans love him, and he makes millions for Vinnie Mac, but when was the last time he's hit a technical move? Granted, he is an injured man, but if he opted for the surgery right after he hurt his neck, and took some time off, he could be all he is and more with some moves a bit more technical than the good old haymaker.

I joined the XWF one day, on a whim, I was hanging around Hotline when I saw this new e-fed. I had never been in an efed before, but this sounded interesting, even if it was not yet open. So I joined, and the next day, I recieved an email telling me how much Mikee looked forward to having the XWF open for business and me in it. I knew at that moment that it was gonna be great.

And it was. I won the very first XWF match, I won the XWF World Title first, I was even the first man to use (and destroy) the Hell in the Cell, and this was long before I had fought Whacko in that epic battle. Many of you who have been around for a month or two might remember when I took on Whacko in an enpty arena match. For those who are new or missed it, it ended with near death for me, Whacko, and the new Hardcore Ministry member, Hardkore Kid.

And this newsletter will be great. The minute I heard that I was considered for a position in the masthead, I was ready for a great time. Let's get this going! Every week, I may write a column about the general state of the XWF, pick apart a famous wrestler, tell everyone why so-and-so from the XWF is destined to be the next champ, or all of the above, plus more.

Hell Week at X-Treme Wrestling Federation by:KAMIKAZE

Last week will live forever in the memory of the XWF as Hell Week. Although things seemed normal (for here, anyway) on Monday, it was not to last. On top of the massive shakeup resulting from the takeover of the Dark Elite, the very future of the fed seemed in jeopardy. With Wednesday's card being postponed to Friday there was not a lot of action in the ring.

Outside the ring, however, things were rocking! New bookers were brought in as well as additional writers. After several nervous days, the news came in that the XWF was still going to continue. There have been changes, and they continue. XWF stars are dropping like flies as the whole company gets shook up. We can only hope that when the dust settles, the XWF will be better than ever. The message seems clear: Jobbers go home. Only real players accepted here!

Blast from the past by: RAGING BULL
Every week we will take a look back at a great XWF match. Here is the first one we will look at.

MAIN EVENT

A-TRAIN vs. BRIMSTONE (.Standard.)

XWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE BELT

Tely - " OK, we are pressed for time, so here it is folks, the moment we've all been waiting for !!!! "

At the get go it was clear neither man was 100%, after having fought three matches each in one night, it comes down to this, and the prize.... the most honored title in the XWF or any and all efederations for that matter, the XWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE BELT !

They locked up, Brimstone took the first round of control, dishing out boots to the belly and fist to the face, tossing A-train into the turn buckle and then landing A splash, quick pin and kick out, A-Train made his gain, taking Brimstone into an arm bar, then an atomic drop, followed with A sitting pile driver, but Brimstone kicked the pin, what followed was A series of choke slams, from the ropes, off the turn buckles and final the fifth, sky high center ring, but some how A-Train kicked out.

With another several minutes of melee and no gain, Brimstone got spun around, and into the A-Slam(snow plow), this took him down, with A two count, the pin was broken, just then Over Fiend and Jarrett ran to the ring, Brimstone and A-Train where up, it was A slobber knocker, the referee was lost, suddenly Jarrett was gut wrench power bombed by A-Train and Over Fiend dealt A Gorilla Press Slam by Brimstone, both heels retreated.

The match continued again, Brimstone had started A full nelson, but as he went to turn into A slam, A-Train hooked his leg with A Russian leg sweep, A-Train then did his A-Drop(top rope brainbuster), to Brimstone...he then Fisherman suplexed Brimstone and into the pin combo for the full three count.

Winner of the LAST MAN STANDING tournament and 1st ever XWF CHAMPION OF THE WORLD

A-TRAIN AARON JENNINGS !!!!!!!

After the match Brimstone raised A-Trains hand in victory as A-Train was handed the Belt and the Crown !

The fans then went totalllllllly nutzzzzzzz !!!!!!!!!!

Tely - " Yes, folks A-Train has gone all the way !!!!!!"

Match Predictions by MICK MUMBLY
Hey, this is Mike Mumbly with your Match Predictions. I could go on about my history in wrestling, but I am sure you don't care... you want to here about the matches! So here they are! For Friday, May 12th...
Super Fiend vs. Avalanche
Is there any doubt in this one? Super Fiend is a phenom and not likely to be stopped soon. I mean, 8 feet of power! This guy has been on a roll and they put him against the guy on the bottom of the ladder.
I give this one to the mysterious Super Fiend, hands down!
By the way, anyone see Super Star lately??
Diehard vs. Extreme Machine
This one is a little more even than the last, but then again me vs Legion is more even than the last! Diehard made an impressive start, but has fallen a bit. I see the Extreme Machine starting a roll here and Diehard to get rolled right over.
Odds are with the Extreme Machine.
Kamikaze vs. Legionnaire
XWF Hotline Championship Title

This is a toughie. Kamikaze has been on fire, so expect him to take. However, don't count Legionnaire out. He may fall sometimes, but now that he is more his own man I see him being more of a force, but not enough... Winner: Kamikaze
Blackjack vs. Mega Death & Raging Bull
Handicap Match

Hmm, lucky this isn't for the Extreme Belt. Blackjack has the odds stacked here , but he usually has a trick up his sleeve. Watch for the Five Card Stud to make a good show, and then the odds over come him as Mega Death and Raging Bull walk out the victors.
Winner: Mega Death and Raging Bull
Jake King vs. Psycho
Another even match... If this had been a week or two ago, I would go with Psycho. However, Jake King has seemed to have found himself. Unfortunately, its an evil self. Still, watch for this snake to strike and take the win.
Winner: Jake King.
A-Train vs. Nimrod
Hard-core Match

For some reason, A-Train has two matches on this card, both against Super Freaks. According to rumors I have heard this could be some sort of initiation or test to see if he is good enough to join their stable. Whether or not this is true, I see this to be a hard fought contest. In the end the more experienced former champ has the advantage.
Winner: A-Train
The Jackal vs. Timmy McReady
Special Tennis Ball / Gag Match

WOW! This one should be one to remember. Jackal is on his World Title hunt and McReady is an up and coming superstar. I would call Jackal, but McReady seems to get a streak of incredible luck from time to time.
Winner: Too close to call.
Hardkore Kid vs. Kamikaze
XWF Light Weight Championship Title

Again, another wrestler doing double duty. Usually this would be a close one, but since Kamikaze will have already defended HIS title and with the Dark Elite looming over his head I see him being distracted.
Winner: HKK
A-Train vs. Crazy Noodle Boy
Submission win only Match

This is A-Train's second match against a fresh Crazy Noodle Boy. Last time, in the Submissionist tourney, Crazy Noodle Boy won. This time I see the insane one being distracted by his World Title hunt. Should be another great one.
Winner: Too close to call.
The Red Raven vs. Mentally Insane
XWF World Championship Title

The Red Raven is hot and he is in there with a Light Weight. Mentally Insane may give TRR a serious run for his money, but I see the champ making it to the PPV.
Winner: The Red Raven.
Ahala vs. Damona
Who would have guessed it? These two are going to try to tear each other apart, or are the? I expect a surprise from the Dark Elite or maybe the Red Raven to step in. Plus they have a laundry list of enemies that would love to join.
Winner: Draw.
MAIN EVENT
Raging Bull vs. Ironman
XWF Super Heavy Weight Championship

Ironman may be upset over his Submissionist loss, enough to get this belt? I doubt it. Raging Bull is raging to the top and I wouldn't be surprised to see him with another belt soon enough. This guy is hot!
Winner: Raging Bull
And now for Monday:

Super Fiend vs. Machinehead
Should I even bother commenting?
Winner: Super Fiend.

Swinging Steve vs. The Disciple
Swinging Steve got himself a title shot for PPV, and if he doesn't win this match I think it takes him out of contendership.
Winner: Swinging Steve

Nature's Fury vs. Insane Psycho's
XWF World Tag Team Championship Titles

I assume that Nature's Fury is Jackal and The Red Raven, so I see Insane Psycho's getting quite a challenge. However, the New Nature's Fury is way more volatile than the old one and I see them exploding in their own faces. It might not be in this match, but against a cohesive team like the Insane Psycho's there is a good chance.
Winner: Insane Psycho's

The Champ vs. Ugg-Lee
XWF Super Heavy Weight Championship

If my earlier prediction was right, and it will be... then Raging Bull will make Ugg-Lee even Ugglee-er with another loss stain on his record.
Winner: Raging Bull

MAIN EVENT
Crazy Noodle Boy vs. Hardkore Kid
Hard-core / Scrap Yard Match XWF Hard-core Championship Title

Quite an unusual match, and a reminder of the past. Even though these two are friends now they used to be enemies. Do feelings like those EVER go away? We shall see. The hotter Hardkore Kid goes against the cooling Crazy Noodle Boy, I mean how long can he keep it up? I've noticed he makes more sense than he used to and that might mean he is losing it. Still he is Championship material, and so is the Kid.
Winner: Too close to call.

Let's take a look at the PPV:

A-Train vs. Super Fiend
Hard-core Match

Finally, the behemoth gets a challenge. A-Train is going to show the first signs of weakness in this guy and maybe even prove that "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" is true.
Winner: Too SOON to tell.

BlackJack vs. Swinging Steve
XWF Extreme Championship Title Belt

Blackjack is a great competitor and this might be a mismatch. Swinging Steve might have some potential but he hasn't fully realized it.
Winner: Blackjack

Kamikaze vs. Damona
Stipulations to 1/2 XWF ownership

I hope Kamikaze takes it, but Damona has a lot of forces on her side. However, The Dark Elite is some trouble lately... and rumor has it they may be in a LOT more by the time the PPV rolls in.
Winner: Kamikaze

The Champ vs. Mystery Opponent
XWF Super Heavy Weight Championship

I bet it will be Raging Bull vs a Mystery Opponent.
Winner: It's a mystery!

MAIN EVENT
The Red Raven vs. The Jackal vs. Crazy Noodle Boy
Triple Threat / One Fall Match XWF World Championship Title Belt

This will be a hell of a match. If the Red Raven wins, he will prove not only his worthiness as champ but also that he might be the greatest XWF champ yet. However, it will not be a cakewalk and he doesn't have the best chances. The Jackal has been hot, and to add to it he is very angry at The Red Raven. He is going to try to not only take the belt but end TRR's career with his usual wrestling skill. This alone would be a great match, but then add the unpredictability of the Hardcore Champ, Crazy Noodle Boy. He may have lost once to the Raven, but that won't mean anything in this match. I see CNB getting the belt eventually and this might be the night.
Winner: The fans, its going to be great whoever wins!

And that is all for me, Mike Mumbly. Till next time, I'll have my ear to the wall....

Weekly Summary by: JAKE KING

The first week of the XWF newsletter was one hellacious week.

The highlights of MNM included Hynter taking the Villians Title, only to lose it and her life to the nice side of darkness, Legionnaire on FNF. The XWF Champ, Red Raven kept his belt against everyone's favorite madman, Craaaaaaaaazy Noodle Boy. Kamikaze, the hotline champ, also defended his belt against a man on form, Raging Bull. Ahala and Phoenix battled hard in the SC tourney second round, Phoenix getting the win after a controversial decision by special guest referee, Crippler Calhoun. The other SC round 2 match was Lugg-Nutt vs. The Desciple. Desciple dominated, taking advantages of Lugg's injuries, until distractions from Ugg-Lee, and then a spinning heel kick from Hynter allowed the almost dead Lugg to get a real come-back win.

On Friday Night Fury, Raging Bull finally took a title, from the moving ice mountain, Glacier. That's right folks, we finally have a new SHW champ! Legion killed Hynter, and took her Villians Title! Hardkore Kid took on Kamikaze to challenge for the LW belt in a steel cage extreme match. HKK eventually got the win and the belt. In the main event, yours truly took on Crazy Noodle Boy for his Hardcore Title. It was a short-lived match, with me utterly destroying CNB ( :P ), until he reversed my pin and got the match. He suffered afterwards with a SnakeBite. Muahahaha...ahem.

MNM was a day for titles to change hands. It was also a day for injuries. Three in fact. The titles on the line were Red Raven's World Title, Ahala's extreme title and The Hardkore Menaces' Tag Team Titles. Red Raven successfully defended his title against Crazy Noodle Boy and The Freek, who got a Raven drop into a table. Ahala lost here title to the face card, BlackJack. In one of the most...interesting...matches of the night, Nature's Fury were due to take on The Hardkore Menaces for the TTC belts. But, earlier that night, The Red Raven broke Glacier's leg, and put himself forward to be The Jackal's partner. This was all part of TRR's plan to destroy Jackal. Jackal hit his Decimator, on his team-mate, sending TRR onto the fallen HKK. So, the new Tag Champions in the XWF are the slightly unlikely duo of The Red Raven and The Jackal.

That's all from me for this week. Mega thanx to Raging Bull 4 setting up this newsletter, and Mikee B for all the work he puts into the whole fed. And also, I expect everyone's heard about this from the OOC board, but big cheer 2 Ahala, for what she did (real world that is).Mike B - " She got a bit emberassed hehe ! "

Jake King, siging off - I'll give u all back XTV soon...

Raging Bull Thanks for reading. Better next week.
( Mikee B says, WOW this was great, thumbs up to all )
Editors Notes
I am sorry, but not all our columns are in here. Not everybody responded to the deadline. Therefore I have had to write a lot of this. Next weekıs will be much better as we should have a few more columns. Anyway, saying that, I hope you enjoy the long awaited arrival of a newsletter to commemorate probably the best e-wrestling fed around. I would like to thank Mikee for all the hard work he puts in. If anybody would like to do any kind of column then e-mail the Raging Bull at the address written later. Anyway, why should I go on, when you could be reading some great match predictions, maybe Kamikazeıs or A-Trainıs column. Thanks for reading and enjoy it.
Each week as a new, newsletter is released, the old one will join the masses in the XWF Vault (arichives) !
