Kamikaze is walking down the sidewalk after being interviewed by Richard
Head. Cheryl Hunter walks up with a cameraman.
Cheryl Hunter: "Kamikaze, I saw Richard talking to you. Would you have
time for a real interview?"
Kamikaze: "Certainly. He spent half the interview kissing up to the
Dark Elite and the rest trying to get me mad. Did you see if Raging
Bull caught up to him?"
CH: "Afraid not. He got to his car and took off. Congratulations on
retaining your title."
Kamikaze: "Thank you. It was a great match. There are many talented
newcomers here lately."
CH: "What do you think about Super Fiend? What a monster!"
Kamikaze: "He is an abomination, twisted by Damona into a creature of
raw evil. I am not certain how he can be defeated, but someone will
find a way. Being the biggest does not always mean being the best."
CH: "What about Timmy McReady beating Nimrod? What an upset!"
Kamikaze: "I was surprised, but not overly so. McReady is like a weasel:
small, sneaky, and mean as hell."
CH: (chuckles) "I bet you were glad to see Ahala get hers."
Kamikaze: "I cannot condone the actions of Crippler Calhoun, but I must
admit I enjoyed the results. I suppose a long-time cheater should expect
to get a taste of their own medicine now and then."
CH: "I know you don't like the Red Raven, but he sure is tough. He beat
Crazy Noodle Boy even with the Jackal's help."
Kamikaze: "He has great skill, that is true. Crazy Noodle Boy is good,
but he is not at the Red Raven's level yet. I believe the Jackal is
the one who will knock off TRR. He has the experience and the motivation
to get the job done."
CH: "What about Damona's little floor show? That scared the hell out
of me!"
Kamikaze: "That is why she did it. Like all the forces of darkness,
she draws strength from fear. Those monks with her were some sort of
demonic beings, probably former humans who had been possessed or sold
their souls. Her evil cult probably has a variety of such allies."
CH: "You killed them, so I guess they weren't very powerful demons."
Kamikaze: "Such creatures cannot bear the touch of my sword. It holds
a great deal of good spiritual energy. Every generation that wields
it with honor adds a bit to its power, and it has been in use for a
thousand years. Against humans it is a mere sword, but against creatures
of darkness it is formidable indeed."
CH: "Still... demons?!?" (shudders)
Kamikaze: "They draw strength from the fear they inspire. Since I did
not fear them, I gave them no power over me."
CH: "You aren't afraid of demons?"
Kamikaze: "I fear no enemy. That is one reason I chose the name 'Kamikaze'.
To die honorably in battle is still a victory, for it is the greatest
death a true warrior can have. A worthy cause must be pursued, no matter
the odds. To lose is not truly defeat unless you give up. I do not give
up, therefore I can never truly lose."
CH: "Whoah... that is so, like, Zen."
Kamikaze: "I am sorry. I did not mean to go on like that. We were speaking
of wrestling, not philosophy."
CH: "Right. What about your match on Wednesday?"
Kamikaze: "It will be my greatest opportunity in the XWF. I have a shot
at the Lightweight Championship in a match against the two top rated
lightweights in the XWF. We are all three high flyers, so the extreme
cage match is perfect for us. I suggest you do not blink or you will
miss a lot of action!"
CH: "I'm looking forward to it. No matter who wins, he'll be a great
champion."
Kamikaze: "Indeed. Farewell, I must be going now. If you see Raging
Bull, thank him for chasing off Richard Head. That man is truly annoying."
CH: "You got that right."
Kamikaze bows and walks away.
